Paid Media Management — Google, Bing & Shopping

Paid media management is the planning, buying and optimisation of advertising on search and shopping platforms, principally Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising and Google Shopping. It covers account structure, keyword and audience strategy, bidding, creative, and conversion tracking. Avar Systems manages paid media against cost per qualified lead rather than clicks, with results reported inside your own CRM and dashboards.

Decisions here are made on numbers

Bids and pacing modelled against cost per qualified lead from your CRM, with automated alerts when CPL, CTR or conversion rate break their band.

0 creative variants in test of spend on tested creative
0 spend anomalies flagged caught inside 24 hours
0% of weeks inside the pacing band budget landed where it was meant to

Figures describe a mid-sized engagement — a monthly budget in the low tens of thousands across three platforms. Illustrative of an engagement at this size, not a named client’s results. These describe the volume of work and how it is governed — not an outcome we are claiming on someone else’s behalf.

Scope

What’s included

8 workstreams. Each one is a thing that gets done, not a thing that gets discussed.

01

Account audit and restructure

Campaign and ad-group architecture, match types, negatives, and the wasted spend an inherited account is usually carrying.

02

Conversion tracking build

Server-side where it matters, deduplicated, and reconciled against the CRM so the platform and your database agree on what a conversion is.

03

Keyword and audience strategy

Intent-tiered keywords, audience layering, and exclusions to keep budget off traffic that will never buy.

04

Ad copy and creative testing

Structured tests with one variable at a time, so a winner is a finding rather than a coincidence.

05

Landing page alignment

The page the click lands on, treated as part of the campaign rather than someone else’s problem.

06

Bidding and budget management

Bid strategy matched to data volume, with pacing across markets and currencies.

07

Shopping and feed management

Feed hygiene, product titles, and merchant-centre diagnostics for e-commerce and distribution accounts.

08

Reporting

Spend, cost per qualified lead, and what happened to those leads after the handoff.

How it connects

One connection layer, not 8 brittle integrations

Work happens in accounts and properties you own. Each system is reached through its own MCP server, authenticated with a token scoped to an account you own — so the data is read where it already lives rather than copied over to us.

How paid media connects through one MCP layer Our AI tooling acts as the MCP client. It speaks one protocol to a set of MCP servers, one per system. Each server talks to that system's own API using a scoped token on an account you own. On the left, the 2 platform groups the work runs in. On the right, the 2 parts of your own stack it reads from and writes back to. Nothing is copied out: the data is read where it already lives. srv srv srv srv Ad platforms Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising Google Merchant Center +1 more Analytics & tags Google Tag Manager, GA4 CRM & lifecycle HubSpot / Zoho / Salesforce Warehouse & BI Looker Studio Our AI tooling the MCP client — asks, reasons, drafts every action human-signed MCP One connection layer one contract, not 8 integrations Your accounts, your tokens scoped OAuth on properties you own read by default · writes named up front srv — an MCP server per system, speaking that system’s own API

Measurement

What we measure, and how often

Agreed before work starts, so a later claim of improvement is checkable against a baseline rather than asserted.

Cost per qualified lead The number that actually governs whether paid media is working
Weekly
Spend pacing against budget Whether budget is being consumed where it was meant to go
Weekly
Search impression share and lost share Headroom remaining, and whether budget or rank is the constraint
Monthly
Conversion rate by campaign and match type Where structure is helping and where it is leaking
Weekly
Lead-to-opportunity rate from paid Whether the leads are the right ones, which clicks cannot tell you
Monthly
FAQ

Paid Media — common questions

Who owns the ad accounts and the spend?

You do. Accounts stay under your ownership and ad spend is paid directly to the platforms by you — never routed through Avar. If the engagement ends, nothing has to be migrated back.

What budget do we need to start?

It depends on the cost per click in your category and the volume needed before optimisation decisions mean anything. We size it during the audit against your market and target cost per lead rather than quoting a flat minimum.

Can you run one budget across several markets?

Yes. Campaigns are structured per market so performance stays comparable, with consolidated multi-currency reporting on top. That is the usual arrangement for businesses selling into more than one APAC country.

Our leads look fine but sales says they are poor. Can you see that?

That gap is the specific problem this is built to close. Connecting the ad platforms to your CRM means lead quality by campaign becomes visible, and optimisation can target the segments that convert rather than the ones that merely fill the form.
